Welcome back to your Peak of the Week, where we explore what it means to live aligned, lead authentically, and build a life that feels as good as it looks.

This Week →

  • Why stepping into your bigness means letting go of who you thought you had to be

  • The surprising discovery: being the most me is more peaceful than pretending to be someone else

  • Three journal prompts to help you stop performing and start presencing in 2026

The freedom you're looking for isn't on the other side of more credentials or validation. It's on the other side of believing you're already worthy of the dreams in your heart.

My Turn

I hope this finds you in a moment of stillness.

It's the end of the year and I'm reflecting on all that happened in 2025.

This was the year I stepped into my life's work.

I've always had this pull toward helping people become the best version of themselves. But I doubted myself (because who doesn't have self-doubt when they do something new?).

But I moved forward anyway. Did it scared because I know it was a calling. I reached a point where I knew I’d regret not trying.

Through my Purpose Workshop, speaking engagements, corporate workshops and 1:1 coaching, I watched professionals get aligned to their life's work, teams hitting metrics they never thought possible, improved relationships, more connections and way more confidence. I realized that the way to overcome fear is to just do the thing. Walk about to fear and just do it anyway.

The theme of this year? Shedding old programming (beliefs) in order to step into my bigness.

I stopped being afraid to be the most me. And it feels so much more peaceful to be me than pretend to be someone else. There's FREEDOM in my bigness.

But I'm not gonna lie….it was a HARD year too.

Me stepping into who I'm created to be disturbed some people around me. They didn't want me to change. They wanted me to stay small.

That was all for me. I can see that now. (but it still sucked)

Plus (my personal highlights):

✨ Published Shine Brighter (!!!)

✨ Transformed 150+ lives through purpose workshops and corporate engagements

✨ Coached 15 very special humans into career + life alignment

✨ Met my future business partner

It was a BIG year.

I'm so thankful for you.

Your Turn

Here are a few questions I journaled on over the past week and I invite to you as well:

Question #1: Where do I see myself as small where others see me as big?

I spent SO much time this year realizing all the ways I’ve seen myself as small this entire time. I had to shift my perspective.

The people around you? They see your greatness even when you can't.

So where are YOU still playing small? Where are you hiding gifts that others keep telling you are extraordinary?

Be honest.

Question #2: What pattern am I finally ready to break?

Generational patterns don't just live in our families—they live in how we lead, how we work, how we see ourselves.

Maybe it's the pattern of waiting for permission.

Or the pattern of making yourself smaller so others feel comfortable.

Or the pattern of believing success has to look a certain way.

What pattern kept you small this year?

What pattern are you DONE carrying?

Because when you make a new decision and act from that place, oh WOW -just wait, and just WATCH how much your life transforms. I don’t doubt this at all anymore, as I’ve witnessed and coached dozens of people breaking old patterns. It’s possible. And it’s powerful.

Question #3: If I fully trusted that I am worthy of all the dreams in my heart, how would I show up? And what aligned action would I take?

This one is GOOD…but requires you to dig deep.

What if you didn't need MORE credentials, MORE proof, MORE validation?

What if you already ARE the person those dreams are calling to?

How would you show up differently today?

What aligned action would you take this week?

Not someday. Now.

If these questions are stirring something in you, I wrote an entire book about this journey.

Shine Brighter is my story of stepping into my bigness and it's an invitation for you to step into yours.

GIFT IT to someone who's ready to stop playing small or read it yourself as you begin the new year.

Your next level is calling.

See you in 2026 and SO GRATEFUL for your support,

Laura

P.S. Here's what's coming in 2026: I'm bringing this transformation work into businesses in a much bigger way. The real work… helping leaders stop performing and start presencing, breaking patterns that drain entire teams, seeing their own greatness. I’ve sat with enough burned-out C-Suite leaders to know that this isn't a "nice to have." This is the work that saves organizations. When leaders step into their bigness, entire teams transform. I’m ready, are you?
